At this prestigious competition, our athletes once again proved that with willpower, dedication, and perseverance, the greatest global achievements are within reach. They represented Bosnia and Herzegovina and its sporting spirit in the best possible way.
Special congratulations go to Mirsad and Željka Terzo, whose remarkable performances have written new chapters in the history of domestic powerlifting. Željka Terzo, competing in the women’s category up to 82.5 kg, achieved an impressive total of 485 kg, reaffirming her status as one of the most successful Bosnian-Herzegovinian athletes in this sport.
Mirsad Terzo, who returned to the competitive scene after an eight-year break, won a total of six medals—four gold and two silver—and set world records in the deadlift and strict curl disciplines in the Paralympic and Masters categories. His extraordinary achievement, accomplished despite a 90% disability status, stands as a true inspiration and a testament to sporting spirit, persistence, and courage.

- Sejfo Šehović, overall winner in the Masters category;
- Goran Krulj and Zorana Mijović, whose performances confirmed the continuity of top results among Bosnian-Herzegovinian powerlifters.
- The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports expresses deep gratitude to all our athletes, their coaches, and federations who represent Bosnia and Herzegovina with pride and dignity on the international sports stage. Their successes testify that the strength of our sport lies in unity, dedication, and the unwavering spirit of our athletes.
- We congratulate all our competitors on their outstanding results and wish them much success and sporting triumphs in the years to come.
