The best BiH taekwondo player Nedžad Husić won a gold medal at the Turkish Open, otherwise known as the G1 category tournament. Before winning the gold, Nedžad had achieved five victories against Russian, Turkish, Puerto Rican, Greek and Polish representatives, thus confirming his excellent form and making us all happy with another gold.

BiH juniors also achieved success at the Turkish Open. Ema Kurić also won the gold medal with five victories, Benjamin Husić won the silver, and Anja Hrgić the bronze.

Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević congratulated our taekwondo players on their excellent placement on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports: “Juniors, obviously, have a role model in Nedžad Husić, which is the best message for others to be encouraged and enter the world of sports. Congratulations on a great success to our taekwondo players, Nedžad, Ema, Benjamin and Anja!”
