The best BiH cyclist Lejla Njemčević rode the European Championship race in Denmark this weekend, where she won the silver medal. It is also the first medal at the European Championships in the history of BiH cycling. On this occasion, the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, sent a congratulatory message to Lejla:

“Our dear Lejla, delighted with the historic success that you have brought to Bosnia and Herzegovina, thanks to your enormous effort and work, I want to congratulate and express my gratitude on behalf of the Ministry and on my own behalf for the brilliant presentation of BiH sports on European cycling tracks. Let this be just one of the many medals that will shine next to your image on the victory podiums”, said the minister.

After this race, Lejla is waiting for the last race of the World Cup for this season, which will be held in the USA and will decide the overall winner of the World Series.
