Congratulations: “Borsa” judokas won three gold medals at the Asian Cup

The Asian International Junior Cup was played in Amman (Jordan), which is one of the official tournaments of the International Judo Federation (IJF).

On that occasion, the competitors of the “Borsa” Mostar Judo Club, performing for the junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, won three gold medals and won the 3rd place in the ranking of nations, thus achieving a historic success.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina selection was led by the golden trio from “Borsa”, who confirmed an exceptional continuity of results on the Amman tatami.

Rino Vrljić (+100 kg) won against Alahmad Alsheikh Ali (Syria) and Abusafa Abdelhadi (Jordan) and won the gold medal in the heaviest category.

Furthermore, Johanna Elisabeth Klinger (-78 kg) recorded secure victories against Ghofran Alturkey (Syria) and Aseel Kayyali (Jordan), confirming her status as one of the most promising juniors in the region.

Korina Džidić (-70 kg) celebrated against Haya Al Kawari (Qatar) and Yara Tarabay (Lebanon), continuing her string of international successes and solidifying her position at the top of European and world judo.
