The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport announces that on Monday, December 22, 2025, starting at 12:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo (Hamdije Ćemerlića Street 2), a ceremonial award ceremony will be held for athletes, coaches, and clubs from the Federation of BiH for achieving top sports results at international competitions in the 2024/2025 season.
For exceptional results and contribution to the promotion of sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the second cycle in 2025 (from July to November 2025), a total of 535,500 KM will be awarded. The awards will be presented to 70 athletes, one national team selector, 11 coaches, nine sports associations, and ten clubs. The awards are granted in accordance with the Regulation on Determining Criteria for Awarding Athletes, Sports Workers, and Sports Associations from the Federation of BiH.
In addition, awards will be presented to athletes and coaches from the Federation of BiH who achieved notable results in international competitions in non-Olympic sports during the second cycle of 2025. Eight athletes and five coaches will be awarded, with a total amount of 59,250 KM.
So far, for the first and second awarding cycles in Olympic and non-Olympic sports, nearly two million KM has been allocated from the Budget of the Federation of BiH in 2025.
The ceremony will be attended by and awards presented by the Federal Minister of Culture and Sport, Sanja Vlaisavljević, and the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Nermin Nikšić.
