Ante Nižić from Ljubuški was received at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports by minister Sanja Vlaisavljević, after he had been admitted to the Taekwondo Hall of Fame.
This is the highest award given in this Olympic sport. Nižić received the award as the originator and founder of the first Taekwondo Club in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for long-term sports activism and the promotion of this martial sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević welcomed the guest to the Ministry, congratulated him on the valuable recognition he brought to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nižić pointed out that he was honoured by the reception at the Ministry. Then, he presented his many years of work in taekwondo, and his experience from the Hall of Fame ceremony.
Nižić was accompanied by his granddaughter Andrijana Soldo, who was also practicing taekwondo, had the black belt and achieved notable results.
