Last night, as part of the celebration of Days of European Heritage 2025, another event was held at the Promenade of Culture, bringing together young talents and art enthusiasts. The programme was opened by moderator Merima Djerekarac, followed by an address by the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, who emphasized the importance of cultural encounters and the affirmation of young artists.
On this occasion, the Minister remarked: A moment ago someone told me: Well, there aren’t many people at the Promenade. But there are those who wished to hear and see the finest that we can offer in Sarajevo… We continue to promote what is beautiful, good, and positive. And music and dance – what could be more beautiful and positive…
The audience was delighted by the performance of members of the Bolero Sports Dance Club from Sarajevo, which for many years has brought together dancers of all ages and levels. Their mission is to nurture talent, discipline, and team spirit through dance, and with last night’s elegant and energetic choreographies they demonstrated how movement and music merge into a unique artistic enchantment. Special attention was drawn to the youngest dancer, only six years old, whose performance brought additional joy and symbolism to an evening dedicated to youth.
After the dance segment, the programme continued with a concert by Domine, a young Sarajevo band that won the award for the best young original band in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their repertoire, composed of timeless hits from the regional music scene, further enriched the evening and created an atmosphere of togetherness and joy.
This event once again confirmed that the Promenade of Culture was a place of encounters, inspiration, and affirmation of young talents, and that art had the power to connect people and cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
