Amar Lalić Attended the Training “FMC for New Coordinators-From Regulation and Development Plans to Reporting”

Employee of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Amar Lalić, Senior Clerk for Cashier Operations in the Department of Financial Affairs, attended on 11 December  2025 the training “FMC for New Coordinators – From Regulation and Development Plans to Reporting,” organized by Paragraf Lexa d.o.o. Sarajevo. The training lasted one day (8 hours).

The aim of this training was to improve knowledge of the Financial Management and Control (FMC) system in accordance with applicable laws and by-laws, as well as to strengthen capacities for efficient, economical, and effective management of public funds.

The training was delivered through theoretical lectures, practical examples, and discussion, covering the following topics:

  • Legal and institutional framework of FMC
  • Role of management and employees in the FMC system
  • Setting objectives and risk management
  • Control activities and procedures
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting within the FMC system
  • Connection between FMC and internal audit

Participants acquired knowledge and skills related to: understanding the basic elements of FMC, identifying and assessing risks in business processes, applying control mechanisms in everyday work, and improving planning, monitoring, and reporting. The acquired knowledge will be applied in regular work tasks, particularly in planning activities, implementing control procedures, and contributing to the development and enhancement of the FMC system within the institution.

The training proved to be extremely useful and significantly contributed to a better understanding of the financial management and control system. The acquired knowledge represents a foundation for further improvement of responsible and transparent management of public funds.
