Hanadin Basarić, Youth Associations Advisor in the Youth Sector, visited the Mountaineering Association “Bjelašnica” on 3 November 2025, as part of the Action Plan of visits to beneficiaries of funds. The purpose of the visit was to gain insight into the Association’s work and review documentation related to the implementation of the “The Mountains Are Calling – Youth on the Move” project, which was supported from the Youth Transfer in the amount of BAM 4,500.00.

During the visit, financial documentation was reviewed, and the President of the Association, Darko Čorić, presented the project results and showed a short video about its implementation. It was emphasised that the project had fully achieved its goal – empowering at least 40 young participants through a three-day youth activity focused on developing wilderness survival skills.

The young people hiked along a marked mountain trail to a pre-designated checkpoint, where a camp was organised with overnight stays in tents. During the activity, practical workshops were held on orientation and survival in nature. While passing through natural and cultural landscapes, participants had the opportunity to explore mountain biodiversity, build physical endurance, teamwork, and terrain navigation skills.

The project, supported by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, was successfully implemented. In accordance with contractual obligations, the beneficiary will submit a supplement to the financial report on the purposeful use of funds, along with supporting documentation, no later than 31 December 2025.
