As part of the Action Plan of Visits to Beneficiaries of Approved Funds, Adnan Bektić, Senior Expert Associate of the Youth Division, visited on 4 November 2025 the Association “Rudarska glazba Kakanj”, with the aim of reviewing the documentation on the implementation of the project “Youth in Mining Music Kakanj – Tradition through New Generations”, which was supported from the Youth Transfer in the amount of KM 5,500.00.

The Mining Music Kakanj has existed since 1952 and gathers a large number of young members and very often represents our country at international festivals around the world

As part of the project aimed at highlighting and including young people in cultural life, over 40 rehearsals were held with young members of the orchestra and 5 new members of the orchestra were enrolled. Uduga currently has around 40 active members, and the project also plans to purchase new uniforms and hold a final concert with the young members involved.

Upon completion of the project, the Association “Rudarska glazba Kakanj”, in accordance with contractual obligations, will submit a complete financial report on the intended use of the approved funds together with supporting documentation. The deadline for submitting the financial report is 31 December 2025.
