Within the framework of the Action Plan of visits to the beneficiaries of approved funds, Sanja Arnautović, Head of the Department for Institutions and Associations in the Field of Culture in the Division of Culture of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, carried out a supervision of the implementation of the project titled Sarajevo Theatre Showcase by the beneficiary Association “Realstage” Sarajevo, supported from the Ministry’s Transfer for Culture of Importance to the Federation of BiH, Priority Area 1.2: Professional Theatre Festivals.

The project Sarajevo Theatre Showcase is a professional theatre festival that brings together the most innovative theatrical productions of the region, provides a platform for presenting new dramatic works, and fosters international cooperation through theatre art. The festival was held on 14 September 2025.

During the supervision, it was established that all planned project activities had been successfully implemented, including the selection of plays, presentations, seminar-workshops, and the industry segment of the Festival. The beneficiary provided media releases, announcements, promotional materials, and financial documentation, confirming that the activities had been carried out in accordance with contractual obligations and the project plan.

Upon completion of the administrative part of the festival, the Association “Realstage” Sarajevo will submit to the Ministry the complete financial documentation together with a narrative report, in line with prescribed deadlines and procedures.

The project Sarajevo Theatre Showcase makes a significant contribution to strengthening the professional theatre scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina, encourages the development of new artistic practices, and affirms creativity in an international context.
