Within the Action Plan of visits to beneficiaries of the budget funds, Semira Dommar, Senior Advisor for Olympic and Paralympic Sports from the Sports Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited Taekwondo Club “Novi Grad” in Sarajevo on 11 November 2025.
The purpose of the visit was to review documentation related to the implementation of the project “Co-financing the Organisation and Implementation of the 10th Sarajevo Open 2025”, which received financial support from the Transfer for Sports of Importance to the Federation, under the programme “Co-financing the activities of sports associations and clubs working with children and youth up to 18 years of age”, in the total amount of 3,000.00 KM.
During the visit, the available project and financial documentation was reviewed, and it was established that the beneficiary used the funds for their intended purpose, in accordance with the approved project.
The beneficiary used the allocated funds for:
- organising and implementing the international competition titled 10th Sarajevo Open 2025,
- organising an international competition that contributes to the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina through sport and the achievement of top sporting results,
- conducting regular training activities aimed at promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle.
Based on the review, it can be concluded that the project is being implemented in accordance with the planned activities and that the support of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports is justified.
