As a part of the Action Plan for visits to the beneficiaries of the approved funds, Alma Kurtalić, an expert advisor for sports facilities of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, made on 10 October 2025 a field visit to the City of Goražde with the aim of inspecting the documentation related to the implementation of the capital transfer for the projects: “Replacement of the existing surface on the athletics track of the City Stadium with a tartan track” and “Renovation of the entrance and hall of the Mirsad Hurić City Hall”.

When it comes to the “Replacement of the existing surface on the athletics track of the City Stadium with a tartan track” project, it was noted that the project was still ongoing, because the public procurement procedure had not been initiated due to the lack of funds. Upon completion of the works, the user will submit to the Ministry a financial report on the intended use of approved funds, along with accompanying documentation and invoices.

“Renovation of the entrance and hall of the Mirsad Hurić City Hall” Project

It was established on the ground that the activities for the realisation of the project were ongoing. The public procurement procedure had been initiated, and the collection of informative offers from potential contractors was in the process. After the completion of the procedure and the selection of the most favorable bidder, the execution of the works will be started in accordance with the design and technical documentation and the approved funds.

The beneficiary expressed his willingness to submit to the Ministry, upon completion of all planned works, a financial report on the intended use of the allocated funds, along with accompanying documentation and evidence of payments made.
