On 22 May 2025, a meeting was held at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with the Director of the BiH Theatre Games, Fikret Čančar. The Ministry was represented by Tidža Mekić and Marko Frančešević from the Division of Culture.

On that occasion, the start of this year’s 44th BiH Theatre Games was announced, which will be held in Jajce from 28 June to 6 July 2025. During the eight festival days, the audience will be able to enjoy seven competitive performances, along with the rich programme.

Čančar emphasized the importance of long-term cooperation and thanked the Ministry for the support it provides to this prestigious festival, emphasizing the challenges facing the cultural scene.

Ministry employees expressed their satisfaction with the continued holding of this traditional Festival, which further enriches the cultural scene in BiH, and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to provide further support in accordance with its capabilities.
