Last night, the 44th BiH Theatre Festival was officially opened in the Jajce Cultural Center. The ceremony began with the opening of an exhibition of posters of the Theatre Festivals from the last 20 years by Almir Kurt, followed by the official opening of the Festival, which was marked by warm speeches and expressions of support for artists and organisers.

On behalf of the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, the Advisor to he Minister, Anita Vlašić, addressed the attendees, who emphasised that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports proudly supported the event because they believed that investing in art meant investing in a better and warmer society.

The evening was concluded with the first play of this year’s Festival, “The Broken Jar” produced by the National Theater of the Republic of Srpska from Banja Luka.
