2nd Extraordinary Session of the Management Board of the Foundation for Musical, Performing,ž and Visual Arts

On 6 February 2026, in the premises of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the 2nd extraordinary session of the Management Board of the Foundation for Musical, Performing and Visual Arts was held.

The session was attended by the president and members of the Management Board of the Foundation: Alen Čustović, president; Ante Batarilo, member; Emir Nuhanović, member; Foundation employees Andrea Konjević and Merima Rizvanović; and the representative of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Sanja Arnautović.

The session considered the adoption of the Minutes of the Commission for the selection of the president and members of the jury for the Competition in the field of Purchase of Artworks. Since the Commission had not completed the evaluation process of the submitted candidates, the Minutes were not prepared, and this item was therefore not discussed. It was concluded that a meeting of the Commission will be held to finalize the Minutes, after which conditions will be created for consideration of the mentioned item.

Under the item “Miscellaneous,” the handling of received complaints/appeals was discussed. It was noted that by the date of the session, seven complaints had been received, three of which were accepted, and it was concluded that the Management Board will make an appropriate decision regarding the mentioned appeals.

The session also discussed the implementation of the Foundation’s obligations in the area of financial management and control. It was noted that there was a failure to submit the Annual Report on Financial Management and Control (AR FMC) for 2025 to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports within the legally prescribed deadline. Due to the established shortcomings in procedure, a disciplinary measure – verbal warning – was issued to the Foundation’s employees. At the same time, it was concluded that the AR FMC for 2025 should be prepared as soon as possible and submitted to the competent institution.
