On Saturday, 29 November 2025, the 25th anniversary of the children’s magazine “Cvitak” was celebrated in the Croatian House of Herceg Stjepan Kosača within the manifestation titled “Literary Autumn in Mostar”.

The event, organised by the “Zdravo društvo” Association from Mostar and Matica hrvatska Mostar, gathered a large number of visitors, mostly the lower-grade students from Mostar elementary schools and their parents, confirming the strong connection of the local community with this unique literary and educational magazine.

The central part of the programme consisted of meetings with writers for children and young adults from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, who shared their stories, poems and experiences with the audience, emphasizing the importance of literature and the role of “Cvitak” in promoting reading and creativity among young people.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the event was attended by Anita Vlašić, Head of the Minister’s Office.
