The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports sends its sincere congratulations to the organizers, participants and medal winners at the successfully held 18th International Sixth of April Shooting Tournament, which last weekend on the occasion of Sarajevo City Day gathered more than 150 competitors from 12 countries at the Zetra shooting range.

Special congratulations go to the members of the Shooting Club “Sarajevo”, Farah Onešćuk and Zakira Pušini, who once again confirmed the quality of Bosnian sports shooting with their outstanding performances and medals won.

In the senior air rifle competition, Farah Onešćuk shone and deservedly won first place in the final with 250.2 laps, ahead of Tee Ilijević (249.5 laps). Third place went to Zakira Pušina with 227.5 laps.

In the junior competition, first place was won by Zakira Pušina, while Farah Onešćuk was second.

This tournament, which is on the calendars of the International Shooting Sport Federation and the European Shooting Confederation, represents an important sporting event and an important promotion of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports scene.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports wishes all competitors much success in the rest of the season and believes that they will continue to achieve notable results at domestic and international competitions.
