It is with great pleasure that we send sincere congratulations to the Museum of Sarajevo on the opening of the Memorial Room of Vejsil Ćurčić, the first graduate archeologist from Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the accompanying exhibition “Archaeological Photo Traces of Vejsil Ćurčić”.

By opening this space, you pay tribute to the pioneer of archeology in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a researcher who, with his work, dedication and vision, left an indelible mark on the preservation and understanding of our cultural heritage. The memorial room and exhibition testify to the rich legacy of Vejsil Ćurčić and represent a valuable contribution to the collective identity of our city and country.
