Dear artists and organizers,

It is with particular pleasure that I send my congratulations and sincere gratitude for the invitation on the occasion of the opening of three international photography exhibitions within the event “Days of Francophonie 2026”, organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska and the French Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This important cultural event once again confirms the power of art as a universal language that transcends borders and connects different cultures. Photography, as a medium of contemporary expression, provides a unique insight into the diversity of perspectives and poetics and opens up space for dialogue, understanding and creative exchange at the international level.

I especially welcome the cooperation of institutions that, through their joint work, contribute to strengthening cultural ties and affirming the values ​​of Francophonie, but also to enriching the cultural life of our community through top-notch artistic content.
