On 14 October 2026, staff members of the Institute for the Protection of Monuments, Lamija Abdijević and Dolores Janko, conducted professional supervision of the restoration and conservation works being carried out in the interior of the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Sarajevo.

During the supervision, the current status of the work performed was examined; it was determined that all restoration and conservation interventions carried out to date have been executed in accordance with the project documentation, established conservation guidelines, and professional standards.

It was further determined that, in order to complete the planned activities, restoration and conservation work remains to be done on the lower wooden sections of the side-altar steps, along with additional minor interventions on the church’s wooden furnishings.
