On 23 October 2026, works commenced on the interior of the Municipal Building (Small Town Hall) in Odžak, in the presence of representatives from the Municipality, the contractor “Neimari” d.o.o. Sarajevo, and the Institute for the Protection of Monuments.
The historic Municipal Building (known as Beledija or the “Small Town Hall”) in Odžak has been designated a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina by a decision of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Conservation and restoration work on the building has been carried out in phases since 2015, under the professional conservation supervision of the Institute for the Protection of Monuments.
The current phase of works involves the treatment of interior walls and the installation of decorative moldings on the ceilings. The moldings, fabricated in a workshop, have been delivered and installed on a small section of the ceiling in one of the rooms. The specific placement of all moldings has been determined, and the color scheme (STO 31415 and 16002) has been selected.
The work will be executed in accordance with the project documentation, the guidelines provided by the supervisory body, and the established schedule.
