In accordance with the action plan for monitoring the utilization of approved funds, Alma Kurtalić, a representative of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, conducted an on-site inspection on September 8, 2026. The inspection focused on the implementation of project activities and the proper use of approved funds by the beneficiary, the “Bosna” Wheelchair Basketball Club in Zenica.

An authorized representative of the Club presented the project documentation and material evidence regarding the implementation of the project titled “Active Through Sport – Wheelchair Basketball Program 2026.” During the visit, information was presented on activities carried out, including regular training sessions held three times a week, participation in and the playing of matches in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina between 4 January and 31 May 2026, as well as the execution of educational and promotional activities aimed at children with special needs.
The implementation of these project activities plays a vital role in advancing sports for persons with disabilities, developing athletic and competitive potential, promoting wheelchair basketball, and creating opportunities for the active inclusion of children and persons with disabilities in sports activities.

Based on the on-site inspection and the review of the presented documentation and evidence, it was determined that the beneficiary carried out the project activities in accordance with the approved plan and project objectives.
