Sanja Vlaisavljević, the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, attended the central celebration marking the 150th anniversary of the Parish of the Name of Mary in Gromiljak, an event that brought together numerous parishioners.

The solemn Mass was led by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Msgr. Dr. Tomo Vukšić, lending special significance to the observance of this major jubilee for the parish and its faithful.
The 150-year history of the Parish of the Name of Mary bears witness to a century and a half of faith, tradition, community, and the enduring bond between the people and this region. Such jubilees underscore the importance of preserving sites that form an integral part of the cultural and historical heritage of the Croat people.

In recent times, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports has provided tangible support for projects involving the construction, renovation, and reconstruction of cultural and architectural heritage sites. This support represents an investment not only in physical structures but also in preserving the memories, traditions, and values ​​of local communities.

By attending the celebration, Minister Vlaisavljević demonstrated her support for the parish and its parishioners, as well as for efforts to preserve the values ​​and heritage of Gromiljak and pass them on to future generations.
