On 7 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, a representative of the Youth Sector at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited Basketball Club “Koš” to monitor project implementation and verify the proper use of funds allocated for youth projects in 2026.

During the visit, the President of Basketball Club “Koš,” Selma Agić, presented the Club’s activities and achievements, with a particular focus on the “Bjelašnica 2026 Basketball Camp” project, which took place from July 5 to July 10, 2026.

Numerous activities were carried out as part of the project, including participant selection and registration, the engagement of professional staff, the organization of bookings and accommodation, and the execution of a marketing campaign. The Camp’s sports program featured intensive basketball training sessions under the expert supervision of coaches, while the educational component included lectures and workshops with national team players and renowned experts in the fields of basketball, sports, and health.

Through the implementation of this project, Basketball Club “Koš” achieved its primary goal: bringing together a large number of young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries, providing them with a high-quality sports program, and enabling them to improve their basketball skills. Beyond the athletic aspect, the Camp offered young people the opportunity to socialize, exchange experiences, and develop positive lifestyle habits through sports. As part of the verification of the proper use of allocated funds, the Association presented relevant financial documentation to the representative of the Youth Sector—including receipts, invoices, and bank statements—demonstrating project implementation and justifying expenditures in accordance with the agreed-upon purposes.

The Club’s President, Selma Agić, thanked the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for the support provided and the opportunity to enhance the Club’s operations, as well as to promote sports, healthy lifestyle habits, and active youth participation in society.

This visit marks another step in the process of monitoring the implementation of supported projects and reaffirms the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports’ commitment to the transparent, responsible, and purposeful use of public funds aimed at the development and improvement of the status of young people.
