The 28th Spring of Mostar, one of the most important cultural events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was officially opened at the Herceg Stjepan Kosača Cultural Centre, which once again brings together numerous artists and audiences.
In her address, Vlaisavljević emphasized the necessity of continuity and systemic support for culture. She recalled the founders of this manifestation and their vision that had made the Spring of Mostar a recognizable symbol of cultural life for decades.
She particularly emphasized the motif of the Mostar blossom (behar) as a strong symbol of beauty, a new beginning and awakening, connecting it with the lasting value and renewal of the cultural scene.
The official opening at the Herceg Stjepan Kosača Croatian Cultural Centre was marked by a concert performed by artists from the Croatian National Theatre Mostar with guest soloists, which marked the beginning of the rich programme of this year’s Spring of Mostar in the most sublime way.
