Last night, the Municipality of Grude was showcased at the “Promenade of Culture” in Sarajevo, giving the audience an opportunity to discover the rich cultural heritage, traditions, art, and unique characteristics of this Herzegovinian region.

A special segment of the program was dedicated to the “Peć Mlini” Ecological Art Colony—highlighting the artistic and natural heritage of Grude—as well as the activities of the Grude branch of Matica hrvatska.

The “Andrijica Šimić” Historical Unit also took part in the program, while students from the Antun Branko Šimić High School made a special contribution by reciting poetry by the Drinovci-born poet after whom their school is named.

The culinary offerings from Grude also drew significant attention, bringing the flavors and aromas of Herzegovina to Sarajevo.

The evening was further enriched by traditional music performed by Jure Miloš, while the concert portion of the program featured performances by Tin Tomić and Mladen Tomić, a teacher at the Grude Music School.

At the “Promenade of Culture,” Grude presented its most valuable assets—its traditions, cultural heritage, art, music, and local flavors—demonstrating how the richness of local distinctiveness contributes to the cultural diversity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
