On 16 September 2026, as part of the action plan for visiting project beneficiaries, Tidža Mekić—Head of the Department for Publishing, Library, Visual Arts, Music, and Performing Arts—visited the “DRAFT TEATAR” Citizens’ Association in Tuzla. The purpose of the visit was to review documentation regarding the implementation of the project “26th International Theater Festival: Theater Without Borders” (Pozorište bez granica).
The project took place from August 24 to August 29, 2026. The contribution of the “Theater Without Borders” International Theater Festival to the development and success of culture within the Federation of BiH is evident in the fostering of cultural cooperation and the connecting of people through the cultivation of cultural heritage and creativity, as well as in the elevation of the general cultural level.
This year, the international theater festival hosted theater companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Serbia. A round-table discussion titled “International Cultural Cooperation, Diversity, and Opportunities” was also held as part of the festival.
Based on the review of the documentation and available data regarding project implementation, it was determined that the project was carried out in accordance with planned activities and that the beneficiary had prepared the financial documentation relating to the expenditure of the allocated funds.
