As part of the action plan for visiting recipients of approved funding, Sanja Arnautović—Head of the Department for Cultural Institutions and Associations within the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports—conducted a monitoring visit on September 7, 2026. The visit focused on the implementation of the project “All Colours of Tradition” (Sve boje tradicije), carried out by the Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD) “Baščaršija” Sarajevo with financial support from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The “All Colours of Tradition” project aims to preserve, showcase, and promote traditional culture and folklore through a series of concerts designed for local audiences and visitors to Sarajevo. By presenting traditional music and dance in public spaces, the project enhances their accessibility and visibility while promoting the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

To date, the project has included eight concerts for tourists in front of the Sarajevo Cathedral between June and August 2026, as well as a concert at the White Fortress (Bijela Tabija). Project activities also featured performances by guest participants from Belgium and Poland, thereby strengthening the project’s international dimension and fostering cultural exchange.

During the monitoring visit, a review was conducted of promotional materials, media coverage, and other documentation related to the project activities implemented so far. The remaining project activities will be carried out in accordance with the established timeline and project plan, with project implementation concluding at the end of September 2026. Upon completion of all project activities, KUD “Baščaršija” Sarajevo will submit the full financial documentation and a narrative report on project implementation to the Ministry, in compliance with contractual obligations and prescribed deadlines.

The “All Colors of Tradition” project contributes to the preservation and promotion of traditional culture, brings folklore heritage closer to a wider audience, and showcases the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina to both domestic and international visitors. Through the participation of international guests, the project simultaneously fosters cultural exchange and connects diverse traditions via music, dance, and folklore performance.
