As part of the action plan for visiting recipients of approved funds, Sanja Arnautović—Head of the Department for Cultural Institutions and Associations within the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports—conducted a monitoring visit on September 7, 2026.

The visit focused on the implementation of the project “Enhancement of Operations in 2026” by the Public Institution Sarajevo Philharmonic, a project supported by funding from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The “Enhancement of Operations in 2026” project aims to improve and ensure the continuity of the Sarajevo Philharmonic’s programmatic activities throughout 2026. This is achieved through the presentation of concerts and other musical events that contribute to the development of professional musical creativity, audience access to artistic programs, and the preservation and further development of orchestral music activities.

All programmatic activities scheduled for the period of January–July 2026 have been completed, while the remaining activities planned for September–December 2026 will be carried out in accordance with the established timeline and project plan.

During the monitoring visit, the promotional materials related to the programmatic activities completed to date were reviewed.
Upon the conclusion of all project activities, the Public Institution Sarajevo Philharmonic will submit the complete financial documentation and a narrative report on project implementation to the Ministry, in accordance with contractual obligations and prescribed deadlines.

The project “Enhancement of Operations in 2026” contributes to the continuity and quality of the Sarajevo Philharmonic’s operations as a key institution of professional musical art in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the development of concert activities and the promotion of musical culture, as well as to greater accessibility of high-quality artistic content for domestic and international audiences.
