On Wednesday, 30 September 2026, Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, signed contracts in her office at the Ministry with the fifth group of beneficiaries of the Capital Transfer to Other Levels of Government and Funds for the construction, adaptation, and reconstruction of sports infrastructure.

The contracts were signed with representatives of the City of Gradačac for the continuation of the construction of the Banja Ilidža Stadium in Gradačac, as well as with the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton for the reconstruction and modernization of the school grounds of “Ustikolina” Primary School.

The total amount of approved funding for these projects is BAM 450,000.

Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević emphasized that investing in sports infrastructure contributes to strengthening local communities, creating better opportunities for recreation, improving public health, and investing in the future of younger generations. She highlighted that initiatives of this kind help build a Federation that believes in its people and in its future.

The signatories expressed their gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for the allocated funding, noting that the implementation of these projects will significantly improve conditions for sport and recreation in their respective communities, while creating new opportunities for young people and the community as a whole.
