As part of the Action Plan for visits to grant beneficiaries, Vladimir Podany, an officer of the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the “Austrian-German Community” Association on 22 September 2026 to monitor the intended use of funds allocated for the implementation of the project “TASTE AND SOUND: THE SOUL OF GERMANIC CULTURE.”
The project was conceived as a cultural initiative combining music and gastronomy to present elements of German and Austrian cultural traditions while providing a platform for cultural cooperation, artistic expression, and audience engagement with various forms of cultural creativity.
During the monitoring visit, it was established that the project had not yet been implemented. By the time of the visit, the necessary technical preparations had been completed, the project’s visual identity had been developed, and preparations had been made for the gastronomic event planned to follow the concert.
Project activities are proceeding in accordance with the approved programme plan, and their implementation is expected within the contractual timeframe.
Preparation of the narrative and financial reports on project implementation is currently underway. The beneficiary will submit these reports to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports in accordance with contractual obligations, no later than 31 December 2026. A media evaluation of the project is also planned.
During the visit, insight was provided into the documentation relating to the preparatory activities completed thus far.
Through its content, the project “TASTE AND SOUND: THE SOUL OF GERMANIC CULTURE” contributes to the presentation and promotion of cultural traditions, the integration of musical and gastronomic creativity, and the encouragement of cultural cooperation and exchange between Bosnia and Herzegovina and German-speaking countries.
