As part of the Action Plan for visits to grant beneficiaries, Vladimir Podany, an officer of the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the Association for the Promotion and Development of Arts “Musica ad Hominem” on 22 September 2026 in order to monitor the intended use of funds allocated for the implementation of the project “Music on the String Festival 2026.”

The “Music on the String Festival 2026” is a significant musical and cultural project that brings musical art closer to a wider audience through a variety of concert programmes and contributes to the enrichment of the cultural scene. As part of the Festival, three events under the title “Concerts in Your Street” were organised: “Arias from the Balcony,” “Tango from the Balcony,” and “Portraits from the Balcony.”

During the monitoring visit, it was established that all three events had been successfully implemented. By the date of the visit, media coverage of the events had been published through news articles, social media posts, and content on the beneficiary’s website, ensuring the visibility of the implemented programme activities.

It was also established that part of the project funds had been used to cover sound system expenses, as evidenced by the submitted copy of the bank statement.

The preparation of the narrative and financial reports on project implementation is currently underway. The beneficiary will submit these reports to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports in accordance with contractual obligations, no later than 31 December 2026. Preparation of the Festival’s media evaluation is also in progress.

Through its programme activities, the “Music on the String Festival 2026” contributes to making musical art more accessible to the general public, encouraging cultural life, and creating new spaces for musical performances, thereby enriching the cultural offer and supporting the development of musical creativity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
