As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, Adnan Bektić, Senior Expert Associate for International Cooperation within the Ministry’s Youth Sector, visited the Boxing Club “Kralj Tomislav” on 23 September 2026 with the aim of reviewing the documentation and activities related to the implementation of the project “Active Youth through Boxing – International Fight Night Čapljina Tournament,” which was supported by the Ministry with funding in the amount of BAM 8,000.00.
The objective of the project is to improve the position of young people by encouraging their participation in sports, educational, and social activities, while providing opportunities for meaningful use of their free time, the development of sports and life skills, and active involvement in the community.
As part of the project, the International “Fight Night Čapljina” Tournament was successfully organized, providing young athletes with an opportunity to compete, gain new experiences, further develop their sporting skills, and connect with participants from different communities.
During the visit, representatives of Boxing Club “Kralj Tomislav” informed the Ministry’s Senior Expert Associate about the completed project activities, the organization of the international tournament, the results achieved, and the significance of the project in fostering the participation of young people in sports and social activities.
Following a review of the available documentation and the implemented project activities, it was concluded that the project “Active Youth through Boxing – International Fight Night Čapljina Tournament” had been fully completed. The organization of the international tournament was successfully carried out, thereby achieving the project’s goals of actively engaging young people in sports, developing their skills, and promoting the constructive use of leisure time.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to actively monitor the implementation of projects in the field, with the aim of ensuring the transparent and responsible use of public funds, while supporting programmes and projects that contribute to the development of sport, the inclusion of young people in sports and social activities, and the creation of new opportunities for their personal development and active participation in community life.
