Action Plan of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for 2026: Visit to the Youth Association “Rečeno učinjeno – Dictum Factum”

On 25 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, representative of the Ministry’s Youth Sector, visited the Youth Association “Rečeno učinjeno – Dictum Factum” with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the project “Maglaj Spirit Weekend 2026.”

By the date of the visit, approximately 95% of the planned project activities had been completed. These activities were carried out during the period from 25 June to 20 August 2026. During the preparatory phase, an organizing team was established, a project implementation plan was developed, and a partnership was formed with the Municipality of Maglaj. In addition, a public call for applications from young artists was published, participants were selected, a promotional campaign was conducted, and logistical preparations were completed, including the organization of accommodation and other conditions necessary for the implementation of the programme.

The central part of the project was delivered through a three-day programme featuring film screenings, musical performances, visual arts exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops, and participant networking activities. The programme provided young people with an opportunity to present their artistic work, gain new experiences, meet other young artists, and take part in a variety of cultural activities.

According to the President of the Association, one of the project’s primary objectives is to encourage the active participation of young people in the cultural life of the local community. Through the implemented activities, approximately 250 direct participants were engaged, while programme events attracted around 2,000 visitors, demonstrating the project’s significant impact within the local community.

The implementation of the project enabled young people to take an active role in creating and presenting cultural content, develop their creative potential, and establish connections with other young artists. At the same time, the project contributed to enriching the cultural offering of the community and increasing the visibility of young people and their creative work at the local level.

This visit forms part of the activities undertaken to monitor the implementation of projects supported through youth-targeted funding, with the aim of ensuring transparency, the responsible use of allocated resources, and insight into the results achieved by supported projects.
