Action Plan for Visits of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports: Visit to the Swimming Club “Spid” Sarajevo

As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of budgetary funds, on 23 September 2026, Semira Dommar, Senior Adviser for Olympic and Paralympic Sports within the Ministry’s Sports Sector, visited the Swimming Club “Spid” Sarajevo.

The purpose of the visit was to review the documentation related to the implementation of the programme supported pursuant to the Decision on the Adoption of the Fund Allocation Programme, including the criteria for the distribution of funds under the programme “Development and Promotion of Sports and Sports Activities and Support and Promotion of Youth”, financed through the current transfer to non-profit organizations from the “Transfer for Sports of Significance to the Federation”, for the programme “Swimming Club ‘Spid’ for the Preparation and Competition Participation of Ismail Barlov”, in the total amount of BAM 80,250.00.

The beneficiary planned to use the allocated funds for the implementation of the training process and the preparation of Ismail Barlov for participation in the European Senior Championships, as well as in other international competitions, with the objective of achieving the Paralympic qualification standard for participation in the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.

Based on the review of the documentation and the activities carried out, it was established that the beneficiary successfully implemented the planned activities and achieved the objectives of the programme.

Ismail Barlov achieved outstanding sporting results, winning a medal at the European Championships, breaking the national senior record, and achieving the A Paralympic qualification standard for participation in the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.

Based on the review conducted, it can be concluded that the allocated funds were used for the implementation of the planned programme activities, while the sporting achievements attained confirm the successful implementation of the programme and the achievement of its intended objectives.
