As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, on 14 September 2026, Adnan Bektić, Expert Advisor for International Cooperation at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the Impuls Sports Recreation Association, Široki Brijeg, with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the project “Leave Your Mark – Through the Lens.”
The project is supported through the Youth Transfer Programme of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports in the amount of BAM 8,000.00 and is being implemented during the period from 1 September to 30 December 2026.
The primary objective of the project “Leave Your Mark – Through the Lens” is to empower young people through the development of creative, technical, and digital skills in the fields of photography, video production, and visual content editing, while simultaneously encouraging their active participation in the social and cultural life of their community.
Through the project activities, young people are provided with an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills in contemporary visual media, develop their creativity, and enhance their ability to express themselves through photography and video. A particularly valuable aspect of the project lies in connecting the creative work of young people with their more active involvement in local community life.
The project also focuses on strengthening self-confidence, promoting creative expression, and developing practical competencies that may be beneficial for participants’ future education, professional advancement, and entry into the labour market. At the same time, the acquisition of digital and media skills enables young people to explore new forms of creative production and professional development.
During the field visit, an insight was gained into the documentation and activities related to the implementation of the project, as well as into the progress made in carrying out the planned project activities.
Through its support for youth-focused initiatives, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports seeks to create opportunities for the development of young people, encourage creative expression, facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and skills, and promote their more active participation in the social and cultural life of their communities.
Field visits to beneficiaries of approved funding represent an important component of monitoring the implementation of supported projects, with the aim of ensuring the transparent, responsible, and purposeful use of public funds, as well as assessing the results achieved.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports will continue to support high-quality programmes and projects that contribute to empowering young people, developing their potential, and creating new opportunities for education, creative work, and professional advancement.
