As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, on 22 September 2026, Merima Djerekarac, Head of the Department for Olympic and Paralympic Sports, visited the Kickboxing Federation of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The purpose of the visit was to review the documentation related to the implementation of the project “Preparations and Participation of Athletes from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in International Competitions”, for which BAM 35,000.00 was allocated from the Transfer for Sports of Significance to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to Muhamed Šabanović, representative of the Kickboxing Federation of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the project is currently being implemented, and the financial report on the intended use of the approved funds, together with the supporting invoices, will be submitted upon the completion of the planned activities.

At present, the national kickboxing team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is competing at the World Championship in Italy, while the European Championship in Skopje is scheduled to take place in November this year.
