As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, on 22 September 2026, Merima Djerekarac, Head of the Department for Olympic and Paralympic Sports, visited the Sitting Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The purpose of the visit was to review the documentation related to the implementation of the project “Activities of the Sitting Volleyball Federation during 2026”, for which BAM 40,000.00 was allocated from the Transfer for Sports of Significance to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit, an inspection was conducted of the beneficiary’s relevant documentation concerning the implementation of the approved programme and the intended use of the allocated funds. According to Anesa Delić, representative of the Sitting Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the project has been fully implemented.

The beneficiary used the allocated funds to cover the accommodation costs of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team at the World Championship in China, from which the team returned with a silver medal and its jubilee 30th medal.
