As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, Adnan Bektić, Senior Expert Associate for International Cooperation within the Ministry’s Youth Sector, visited the Association of Visual Artists “Irma Art Studio” on 15 September 2026 with the aim of reviewing the documentation related to the implementation of the project “Young People Remember – Art that Heals,” which was supported by the Ministry with funding in the amount of BAM 9,000.00.

During the visit, the authorized representative and project coordinator informed the Ministry’s representative about the objectives, activities, and results of the project, which was aimed at encouraging young people to participate actively in cultural and artistic creation, fostering creativity and self-expression, and preserving the culture of remembrance through art.

More than 50 participants took part in the project “Young People Remember – Art that Heals,” having the opportunity to develop their artistic potential through various visual arts and creative activities, express personal experiences and emotions, and strengthen a sense of belonging, mutual understanding, and social connectedness through collaborative work.

One of the project’s most significant activities was the public presentation of the exhibition, held on 18 July 2026, during which the results of the participants’ artistic work were showcased. This activity provided participants with an opportunity to present their work to the wider public and contribute to the promotion of youth artistic creativity and the culture of remembrance.

Following a review of the available documentation and the implemented project activities, it was established that the project “Young People Remember – Art that Heals” had been successfully completed, involving more than 50 participants, and that the approved funds had been used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the planned project activities.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to actively monitor the implementation of projects in the field with the aim of ensuring the transparent and responsible use of public funds, while providing ongoing support to projects that contribute to the development of young people’s cultural and artistic creativity, the preservation of the culture of remembrance, and their personal development and active participation in community life.
