As part of the action plan for visiting recipients of approved funding, Tidža Mekić, Head of the Department for Publishing, Library, Visual Arts, Music, and Performing Arts at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the “Korifej” Youth Theatre in Novi Travnik on 9 September 2026. The purpose of the visit was to review documentation regarding the implementation of the project “6th inBox – Festival of Small-Scale Theatre Forms,” ​​which is taking place from 1 March to 1 October 2026.

The project entails organizing the sixth edition of inBox—a festival of small-scale theatre forms—aimed at promoting and developing such forms, fostering the careers of young theatre artists and authors, and creating a platform for showcasing contemporary theatrical works. The festival brings together theatre groups and artists who present small-scale productions to the audience through various theatrical formats.

The festival is particularly significant for its contribution to promoting young artists and independent theatre productions, as well as for fostering connections between artists, theatre professionals, and the audience.

The review of the documentation confirmed that the project is proceeding according to the planned schedule and that final implementation activities are currently underway. An examination of the available documentation established that activities are being carried out in accordance with the project proposal and the approved implementation plan. Upon completion of the project, the recipient of funds is required to submit, within the prescribed timeframe, a comprehensive report on the project’s implementation and the expenditure of the allocated funds.
