Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports Visits Action Plan: Visit to the “Pontem” Association – National Association for Social Pedagogy

Within the Action Plan of Visits to the funds beneficiaries, Adnan Bektić, an expert advisor for international cooperation within the Ministry’s Youth Sector, visited the “Pontem” Association (National Association for Social Pedagogy). The visit aimed to monitor the implementation of the project “Youth in the Community – Support for Youth Leaving the Public Care System,” which received funding of 5,000.00 KM from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports through the Youth Transfer fund.

The project’s primary goal is to support young people leaving the public care system by developing life skills, strengthening their capacity for independent living, and fostering more active community engagement. To date, the organization has conducted life skills workshops, giving young people the opportunity to develop practical knowledge and competencies essential for daily life and the process of becoming independent.

As part of the project, the organization is also developing a digital platform and an AI assistant named “kul.ba — Contact Point for Youth,” designed to facilitate easier access to information, content, and support services for young people.

During the field visit, the activities carried out so far and the project-related documentation were reviewed. Preparations for the continuation of project activities, including those planned for October, were also presented. Through its support for such projects, the

Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports aims to contribute to the empowerment of young people, the development of their life skills, and the creation of new opportunities for their active participation in the community.

Field visits to recipients of approved funds constitute an important part of monitoring the implementation of supported projects, with the aim of ensuring the transparent and proper use of public funds, as well as tracking the results achieved.
