The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports joins in celebrating Physical Activity Day, which is celebrated every year with the aim of encouraging citizens to exercise regularly and lead a healthy lifestyle.
Physical activity is the basis of health, but also an important form of social connection, disease prevention and maintaining vitality. Through sports, recreation and everyday forms of movement, we build stronger communities and encourage a culture of health.
We remind you that even 30 minutes of moderate activity per day is enough to improve your physical and mental condition, and we invite citizens to find their own form of movement – whether it is walking, cycling, swimming or sports games.
By celebrating Physical Activity Day, we send the message that movement is a force that connects us, makes us stronger and healthier.
