One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.

The International Day of the Girl is celebrated every year on 11 October with the aim of raising awareness of the rights, needs and challenges girls face around the world. This day is an opportunity to recall the importance of creating a society where every girl has equal opportunities to learn, develop her talents, be safe and freely realize her dreams.
Girls have the right to education, health care, safety, respect and equal participation in society. Investing in their education and development represents an investment in the future of the entire community.
Special attention should be paid to the removal of obstacles that make it difficult for girls to exercise their rights – from discrimination and violence to limited access to education and opportunities for personal and professional development.
Every girl has the right to be heard, supported and encouraged to believe in herself. Our shared responsibility is to create an environment in which he will grow up safely, equally and with the opportunity to realize his full potential.
On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, let’s remind ourselves that supporting girls is not only important on one day of the year. She should be part of the daily advocacy for equality, respect and creating better opportunities for every girl.
Education is everything. It is a way to rise out of the circumstances in which we find ourselves. It is a way to level the playing field.
