A meeting took place today at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports between the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, and Dževdet Tuzlić—a doyen of Bosnian-Herzegovinian journalism whose reporting and editorial work have left an indelible mark on the country’s cultural landscape.
The occasion for today’s discussion was the announcement of a landmark work by this distinguished author, dedicated to the significant 80th anniversary of Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT). According to the author, the volume brings together over a thousand artifacts from the history of this—the oldest media institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A unique contribution to the work comes from the written accounts of 140 individuals—participants from the past who now live and work outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The monograph, titled “BHRT 80 Years,” documents every significant detail in the life of this institution within the cultural sphere. It serves as an enduring testament to the people and phenomena—as well as the era—that shaped the origins and growth of this media organization.
