The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, received a visit from the Bosnian-Herzegovinian director Haris Pašović. During the discussion, Pašović highlighted the importance of the support provided by Minister Vlaisavljević and the Ministry she leads toward the realization of the “East West 2026” project.

This year’s East West Festival—the eighth edition—was exceptionally successful, featuring international theatrical productions that significantly enriched the cultural landscape of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pašović noted the strong audience turnout, reflecting a high level of interest in this type of cultural event. This was evidenced both by the long queues before the performances and by positive reviews from theater critics.

In the coming year, the East West project plans to host several more prominent European theater companies, whose productions will bring a refreshing new energy to our cultural scene and connect us more closely with contemporary trends in theater.
