The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, held today a meeting with representatives of the Women’s Football Club “Emina” from Mostar: Zijo Tojaga, Club Director, Irena Bjelica, Club Secretary, and Dragica Denda, player.

Representatives of the Women’s Football Club “Emina” presented their successes so far, which they have achieved as Premier League players for the seventh year in a row and vice-champions of the state for the fourth year, as well as their plans for the future. Furthermore, they discussed key topics related to the development of women’s football in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on working with young female football enthusiasts.

The Minister expressed her support for the work of this Club, especially their work with children with special needs, which promoted inclusion and equality in sports. She also emphasised the importance of working together to promote women’s football, expressing hope that “Emina” would continue not only with its successes in the playground but also with socially useful work.
