A two-day consensus-based self-assessment workshop based on the CAF (Common Assessment Framework) model has concluded at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports; the workshop was conducted with the aim of improving work quality and strengthening public administration efficiency.
The workshop was facilitated by a working group composed of Ministry employees, with expert support from representatives of the Civil Service Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the workshop, results of the self-assessment were reviewed and harmonized based on the nine criteria of the CAF model, which enable a comprehensive assessment of the Ministry’s organizational functioning, management, work processes, and performance results.
In the coming period, the working group will draft a Self-Assessment Report, scheduled for completion by mid-November 2026. This will be followed by a prioritization phase to identify key areas for improvement, and the development of an Action Plan by the end of 2026, outlining measures and activities for the further development and enhancement of the Ministry’s operations.
By conducting the CAF self-assessment, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues its efforts to strengthen organizational capacities, improve the quality of public services, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within public administration.
