On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, at the residence of the Austrian Ambassador in Sarajevo, the Belgrade-based writer and translator Barbi Marković read excerpts from her book Minihorror.

For the aforementioned novel, Marković received numerous awards, including the Leipzig Book Fair Award.

Professor of German Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, Vahidin Preljević, spoke with Barbi about her literary and translation work, as well as writing in German.

The reading trip was attended by Bjanka Alajbegović, expert advisor for music, theater and film, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
