The programme of the 8th Sarajevo Fest, an international theater festival, scheduled to take place from 31 August to 6 September 2026, was presented at the National Theatre Sarajevo.

This year’s edition of the festival, centered on the theme “Life,” will bring together top-tier theater productions and artists from several European countries, reaffirming Sarajevo’s status as a regional hub for contemporary performing arts.

As one of the event’s patrons, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports has extended its support to Sarajevo Fest, recognizing the festival’s exceptional significance.

Emilija Pavićević, the Minister’s Advisor for Organization and Strategic Planning in the field of cultural and historical heritage protection, addressed the attendees at the press conference on behalf of the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević.

The event highlighted the importance of continuous support for cultural initiatives that foster artistic development, strengthen the cultural scene, and promote dialogue through culture.

Once again, Sarajevo Fest presents a rich program featuring outstanding performances and artistic content from Germany, Greece, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, and Montenegro, underscoring the value of international cultural cooperation and exchange.
